Made it on the front page again!

I made it to the front page of Digg for the fourth time in two months, and the first time in 2007, with my post The Best Linux Security Tools which highlights the best security tools for Linux administrators, including root kit detectors, firewalls and security auditing software. Though I didn't go into too much detail, the list is very useful in that it supplies the interested reader with the necessary information and resources to find out more information on each software application I list.

In respects to making the front page of Digg, it's amazing to watch my site stats jump from roughly 1,500 unique clicks in half a day, to well over 10,000 uniques. You can also imagine how it affected my earnings made with adsense in one day. Though this article was not as popular as my 20 Must Read Linux HOWTOs and Guides in regards to the amount of votes it received, it was my highest adsense earnings to date.

Well, look who it is..

I've decided to set up a blogger account for two main reasons:

1. I enjoy trying new things, and I was curious as to how the interface and interaction between the blogging software and the author (me) differs from that of hosting and running my own wordpress blog, Foogazi.com.
2. This blog is not simply going to be a "mirror" of foogazi.com, instead, I will highlight main points and elaborate on whats new with foogazi, and my progress on building a strong, unique user-based website for Linux and Windows users.
